Low bridges, dead-end alleys, HOA rules, and weight limits on residential roads can force a short meet at a nearby parking lot or truck stop—that is normal industry practice, not a downgrade.

Carriers work in pickup and delivery windows rather than single clock times because trucks are routed across multiple stops. Narrowing your window or requesting a hard appointment can require expedited or dedicated pricing.

Terminal-to-terminal moves sometimes save money if you can drop and collect at a yard; door-to-door trades that flexibility for convenience. We quote both styles when they fit your lane.

• Have a flat, paved area with clearance for ramps when possible; steep hills and tight turns block heavy haulers.
• Someone should be available—or a trusted contact—for inspection and keys at both ends.
• If you need inside storage or white-glove handling, say so upfront—it is not the same as standard curbside auto transport.
